How would you describe the position of your business prior to signing up for support via Miranda’s strategic business forum, Adeptio?

Reactive. Starting to grow and becoming ‘all-consuming’.

What was the reason you decided to commit to joining Adeptio (strategic business forum)?

To provide me with an accountable environment and to have practical and emotional support from people in a similar position to me. I provide supervision for me staff and this is my supervision.

What are the best things you learned as a result of being part of Adeptio – or the best things that have happened to your business since working with Miranda.

To look at the bigger picture. Adeptio has provided me with tools to plan better and insight and confidence in what I do. Miranda has supported me in several specific tasks within my business such as staff performance reviews and planning for growth. However, it’s particularly Miranda’s emotional and strategic support that has motivated and inspired me to keep pushing forward.

How would you describe the position of your business since joining Miranda’s strategic group?

More professional and focused.

What makes Miranda stand out as a business mentor?

I find Miranda’s style of mentoring to be direct and honest, supportive and inspiring. I value the relationship we have very highly-she gives me her full attention (when it’s my turn), and always goes the extra mile in understanding my particular situation.

How much has your business changed as a result of you taking part regularly in Adeptio strategic forum and being mentored by Miranda?

I feel that Happy Turtles has become a more professional and aspirational business with the input of the Adeptio group & Miranda.
